Mechanics

Cisco Marine Services provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for main engines, diesel generators, pumps and auxiliary machinery. Supported by extensive spare parts sourcing capabilities, we assist shipowners and ship management companies with planned maintenance and urgent repairs worldwide.

Our engine services cover cylinder heads, pistons, cylinder liners, bearings, fuel injection equipment, turbochargers and associated cooling and lubrication systems. From individual component repairs to major overhauls, work is planned according to the machinery’s condition, manufacturer’s requirements and the vessel’s operating schedule.

We also service seawater, freshwater, fuel oil, lubricating oil and cargo pumps, including dismantling, inspection, seal and bearing replacement, shaft repairs and alignment. Related mechanical work extends to heat exchangers, coolers, compressors, valves and piping systems.

Our workshop capabilities support machining, component reconditioning and custom fabrication. These include the manufacture of shafts, bushes, sleeves, flanges and equipment foundations, together with steel repairs and piping modifications based on drawings, onboard measurements or existing samples.

Through our supplier network, we source genuine, OEM and suitable replacement parts for a wide range of machinery, with reconditioned components available where appropriate. We coordinate technical identification, procurement and delivery alongside service attendance to support efficient repair planning.

Following completion, machinery is reassembled and subjected to relevant operational checks, with service findings and further maintenance recommendations documented for the vessel’s technical records.
