Cisco Marine Services delivers vessel retrofit and conversion projects that support decarbonization, energy efficiency and compliance with applicable IMO requirements. From initial assessment and engineering design to installation and commissioning, we coordinate each stage around the vessel’s technical specifications and operational schedule.

Our scope includes onboard surveys, feasibility assessments, detailed design, preparation and submission of engineering documentation for class approval, equipment integration, installation and commissioning. We work closely with shipowners, equipment manufacturers and classification societies throughout the project.

Projects include shore power systems (AMP), energy monitoring and power management upgrades, variable frequency drive applications, and modifications to electrical, automation and auxiliary systems aimed at reducing energy consumption and emissions.

Our teams undertake the associated steel fabrication, equipment foundations, piping modifications, cable routing and system connections. Installation is followed by functional testing, commissioning and technical documentation for handover, with manufacturer and class attendance coordinated as required.

Whether delivering a targeted upgrade or a wider retrofit package, we focus on practical integration, maintainability and the vessel’s long-term operational needs.
