Cisco Marine Services provides riding squads for onboard maintenance, repair and installation projects during voyages and port stays. Our teams join vessels at agreed ports and carry out planned work within the vessel’s operating schedule, helping reduce the maintenance workload ahead of drydock and make effective use of sailing time.

Teams are assembled according to the project scope and may include mechanical technicians, electricians, automation specialists, welders, steel fitters and supervisors. Typical assignments cover machinery overhauls, electrical installations, piping renewal, steel repairs, hatch cover maintenance, surface preparation and tank maintenance.

Before mobilisation, we review the work scope, vessel drawings, material requirements, access arrangements and available onboard facilities. Personnel, tools, spare parts and consumables are coordinated to support an efficient start and continuity of work throughout the attendance.

Onboard activities are planned closely with the Master, Chief Engineer and technical superintendent, taking account of vessel operations, working conditions and permit requirements. Progress reports document completed work, technical findings and any items requiring further instruction.

From a small specialist team to a multidisciplinary workforce, we provide flexible support worldwide, with supervision, quality checks and completion reporting matched to each assignment.
